Company History and Profile

 

Flight Research Associates, Inc. (FRA) was established in 2005 to provide NASA, the FAA and private industry with aviation professionals and engineers throughout the world for aeronautical research, development, testing, and training.  Our associates number over 1,000 and have experience in the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia.  Our flight operations and air traffic control personnel have both FAA and ICAO certifications.   

 

FRA is an Oregon Corporation, and our primary operating location is in the NASA Research Park at Moffett Field, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley and co-located with our NASA Ames Research Center customers. Our subsidiary, Flight Research Associates, LLC is located in Miami, Florida.  We are capable of providing services anywhere in the world.  Our government client base includes NASA, FAA, Navy, and Army.  Our non-government clients include ATAC, Boeing, MITRE, Los Angeles World Airports, Pan Am International Flight Academy, UPS Airlines, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Solentus, Meggitt Defense Systems, DynEd International, and Harcourt Assessment.  Our track record demonstrates continual excellent service in providing operational aviation professionals, aviation researchers, engineers, and consultants.  We have provided services under both Prime Contractor and Sub-Contractor agreements.
