Flight Research Associates, Inc. (FRA) is a Veteran-owned small business, specializing in advanced aviation research, development, engineering, test, evaluation and training.  

 

 

FRA was established in 2005 to provide NASA, the FAA and private industry with aviation professionals to enable Air Traffic Management and Human Factors research.  Since then, our mission and customer base have grown to include software and systems engineering, and Live, Virtual, Constructive Distributed Simulation engineering for the FAA, DoD and industry partners along with database administration.  Over the last 3 years, FRA has been integral in NASA and FAA research and test activities relating to Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operations in the National Airspace System (NAS), sourcing ground-based subject matter experts, and simulation engineers for both laboratory and live-fly research projects.
